Wedding Time! San Diego Bound

This past weekend, one of my oldest friends got MARRIED! It was so exciting. She asked me to be her maid of honor and I happily accepted & flew out to San Diego for a quick, but much needed weekend getaway to help celebrate her special day.

I’ve mentioned before that I have a lot of family out in California, so I was able to spend Thursday night, all day Friday, and Saturday morning with my dad, step mom, and 2 precious sisters. My step mom, DeAnna, made me this awesome cappuccino on Saturday morning before Dj and I headed off to San Diego. Can you believe this is homemade? If she ever needed a new job, I think she has an obvious calling for Starbucks. πŸ˜‰

The wedding was located at a place called The Crossings at Carlsbad. It was beyond beautiful. The ceremony was outside on a cliff overlooking the ocean.

That’s the ocean in the background! We couldn’t have asked for better weather.

Colleen and I have been friends since elementary school. She made the most beautiful bride.

Seriously, she looked like she could have been in a magazine! She was also super calm. I guess when you know, you know. πŸ™‚

I had some fun wedding hair, myself! Her matron of honor helped me out!

It was such a magical weekend, I never wanted to come back! I’ll post more pictures of the awesome wedding party & weekend once the professional ones come out!

[…] Remember that wedding I was the maid of honor in last year? WELL, she just had a baby! I met the little guy and was able to smother him with love and was in awe that we are actually old enough to be parents. We were best friends in elementary school and now I’m holding her baby! Time seriously flies. […]
