Did this week go by extremely slow for anyone else? I am so excited for the weekend! I don’t even have anything special planned.. which I’m actually really happy about for once. I recently joined a gym to see if that helps motivate me (so far, mixed results). They do offer unlimited classes, though, so I’m going to try to make it to spin at 9am Sunday morning. They do it in a black light room! How cool is that? Let’s all just keep our fingers crossed I wake up and go… :) When it comes to weekends, I like to keep my recipes simple and comforting. Below, I’ve compiled a list of my favorite weekend recipes & DIY projects! This weekend I’m working a lot with glitter (I promise an abundance of these…

I can’t wait to share my weekend update with you all! I’m going to attempt to write that post after this one, but first things first- today’s shopping finds! These cute little glasses are just too cute to not share with you guys. I tend to wine a lot… ;) A few Valentine’s Days ago, Dj gifted me with these stemmed glasses, which I automatically fell in love with. They have the most unique details and the perfect pop of color to make them stay classy while standing out just the right amount. After finding they were from Pier 1 Imports (one of my favorite stores ever), I hopped in my car and found they also sold them in stemless! Of course, I needed the complete set, so I picked up a matching color…
This post is a little late, but I guess it’s better late than never. :) I love that Valentines Day fell on a Saturday this year! It was the perfect day here in Florida, consisting of beautiful 70 degree weather without a single cloud in the sky. It’s like Mother Nature knew Dj and I needed a day to just be together. First thing in the morning, we exchanged gifts. While most girls get flower bouquets for this special day, I get a cake pop bouquet. He just knows me tooooo well.. ;) Cake pops are my weakness! Especially these ones from Starbucks. It’s safe to say that I have my fix for awhile! We went to a quick lunch at our favorite go-to restaurant, Miller’s Ale House. We split the calamari and I…
I’m on a mission to clean up my lifestyle and that includes more workouts! Cardio is something that I have a love/hate relationship with. I have pretty bad allergies, so when running outside, it takes me longer than a treadmill workout would. However, the outside is justtt soo prettyyyy (living in Florida helps). ;) I am lucky enough to work for a company that allows the occasional work-from-home days. The other day, after having some sink issues, I had to WFH to be there for it. It was just so beautiful out that I decided to spend my lunch break outside. I’ve talked before how the back of my apartment complex is an abandoned golf course (which is all sorts of awesome). So, they have numerous different path options you can take, making your…
I have a [not so secret] love affair with my bed. When it comes to choosing to sleep an extra 15 minutes or make breakfast in the morning, I, without hesitation, choose my bed & a protein bar every.single.time. This also comes into play when getting ready for my day each morning. I don’t want to just throw my hair up in a ponytail and call it a day, so instead, I trick people into thinking I put a lot of time into my hair, when, in actuality, it takes me less than 5 minutes. And let me tell you, I have some really long hair. So, for your *~*Lazy Girl Win of the Day*~* I bring you this (less than 2.5 minute) hair tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-R5ypmYYHU Pictured above: Jeans- American Eagle Shoes- DSW Top-…
Happy (almost) New Year! Have you all created your resolution list yet? I’m really trying to focus in on living an all around healthier lifestyle. I would like to hone in on working out more, eating better, and putting my wallet on a diet! We’ll see how long that last one will hold up… ;) 2014 was an amazing year filled of ups and downs. I graduated from college, I moved from West Virginia to Florida, met new friends, and started a new job. There’s been a few rough spots, but overall, 2014 was a great year and I have a feeling that 2015 will be just as great- if not better. To help ring in 2015, I wanted to compile a list of the 15 Most Popular Recipes of 2014. To check out…
It’s hard to believe Christmas is less than 5 days away. Last year, I had no problem getting into the holiday spirit– however, I think it is much easier when you are up north. Down here in Florida, it is currently 67 degrees and I have my windows open. While some may consider this ideal, when it comes to this time of year, I love the seasons! The snow fall, the scarves, starting a fire, drinking hot chocolate.. you get the gist. Of course, Christmas isn’t waiting for me to get into the spirit, so I’m brewing hot tea in my Santa Claus mug and blasting Michael Buble’s Christmas album and hoping for the best. One thing I never need to worry about being in the mood for is baking, crafting, or gift giving!…
