Baked Caramelized Grapefruit

Grapefruit is pretty much a magic fruit. It’s full of vitamin C, aid in natural weight loss, and even help keep you from getting sick!

It’s also one of those fruits where you either love it or hate it. Most people don’t like it because it can be extremely tart- however, if you bake it, it will naturally caramelize and become almost dessert-like! Which is exactly what I did here.

What you need:

  1. One medium/large grapefruit
  2. 2 tablespoons pure honey
  3. 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Slice the grapefruit in half & place it half up in a deep pan with about an inch of water.

Drizzle 1 tablespoon of pure honey on each side of the grapefruit & then top with the cinnamon.

Place in an oven at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes. You’ll notice it will begin to caramelize!

Allow the grapefruit to cool for about 10 minutes before serving. It’s best served warm. 🙂

Slice it up and enjoy with a spoon!
