#TreatYourSelfSunday- Another Broken Egg Cafe & Thanksgiving Weekend

image

I’m a big fan of brunch. I don’t know how exactly to describe the love that I have for this meal besides saying that it is probably in the top 5 favorite things I enjoy doing in life. Yes, seriously.

We recently just had Another Broken Egg Cafe open up here in Jacksonville, so we thought we’d give it a try. It has now become one of my absolute favorites!

Dj, Tyler, and I went right before Thanksgiving weekend. Dj and I took our friend, Kristen, when we got back (yes, we were that obsessed).

I ordered an omelet called ‘Hey Lucy!’ It had avocado, breakfast chorizo, sautéed onions & green chilies with Cheddar-Jack (although I subbed goat cheese- my latest obsession).

I also ordered coffee. They come in the cutest mugs! I think they actually may sell them there.

I’m a huge fan of Bloody Mary’s. They have a specialty one there that comes with a giant celery stick, carrot, lime slice, and okra. SO.TASTY.

We ordered their Biscuit Beignets for the table. These were amazing. They’re supposed to be similar to the French powdered donuts and came with a honey orange marmalade.

Dj ordered a Crab Cake Benedict with sausage. I’m not a big fan of seafood in breakfast food, but he was in love.

English muffins with blackberry jam & whipped butter!

We also ordered their waffle sliders (keep in mind we went twice, so this is double the food pictures- haha)

These were great! They give you so much food it is so easy to make them into two meals.

I mentioned to you guys that I was planning on going to my mom’s new place in North Carolina. She has recently moved back from London and was just getting settled. Her new house is right on the water of NC and it is so gorgeous! I cannot wait to go and visit her this summer. They have a bunch of paddle boards, boats, and fun water games.

My sister and I kept her life-sized Harry Styles company this break 😉 .
