Weekend Update- Sushi & a Health Question

These upcoming weeks are going to be very interesting. Dj is in Japan for work, my friends are visiting their families for Easter, and I’m trying to figure out ways to keep myself busy.

I’ve never been the best at being alone; I get bored EXTREMELY quickly. Take, for example, that it is only Saturday night & Dj and my friends have only been gone for about 30 hours and I’m already driving myself crazy.

This morning, I made sure to sleep in, picked up a few things from the grocery store, went to the gym, got clean, watched Grey’s Anatomy, went to Joann Fabrics, picked up some food, and now I’m back to binge watching Grey’s. It’s been pretty stormy here, but I’m hoping it clears up, since everywhere will be closed tomorrow & I reallllly need some quality time with the good ol’ sunshine.

Does anyone else hate being alone as much as I do? What do you do to help keep you entertained? I’m all for spending some QT with my Netflix account, but even that gets old after a few hours. 😉

Before the gym, I picked up some of these sushi rolls rolled in soy paper rather than rice. They were so good! I’ve been wanting to learn to roll my own rolls, and I think these would be a great place to begin.

Inside of these:

  • Spicy shrimp
  • Romain lettuce
  • Carrots
  • Cucumber
  • Avocado

They were also topped with a spicy sauce! So yummy.

**Random question: I’ve always had pretty bad headaches, but for the past month or so, I’ve had to take pain meds because of them at least 5-6 days out of the week. Today, while doing moderate cardio on the elliptical, it began to hurt so bad that I felt dizzy. I noticed that the pain would subside if I didn’t use my arms as much, and afterwards while stretching, if I bent my head down, I would have pains from my neck to my mid-back. Has anyone had an issue similar to this?

Enjoy your Easter, everyone! Xx
